Hello, my name is Ed Kahler,
Captain of the Salmon Tracker II. For those of you who do not
know me, allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm all
about fishing, I make it a point to be where the action is and to
provide customer satisfaction.
I started fishing on the Salmon River and it's
surrounding tributaries in 1974. By 1978, I began fishing on Lake
Ontario running out from Sandy Pond. In 1984, I started my own
chartering business part-time departing from Salmon Country Marina.
By 1986, I switched to chartering full-time and have been doing so ever
since! In keeping with the ever changing ecological system, in
2003 I moved my boat, the Salmon Tracker II, to the Port of Oswego for
the best fishing possible.
My goal at all times is to ensure a successful and
memorable fishing experience! In 1995 I formed an alliance with
Kevin Davies of "Catch The Drift" Guide Service. Together, we
provide some of the best river guide services in the Oswego, Pulaski,
